Very few people know who Arius was and what the Arian heresy is. This controversial debate between the defenders of the Trinity dogma and its opponents, which took place in the fourth century, has been kept hidden by the Catholic Church. The Church continues to defend itself vigorously against any threats to its transcendent dogma. The trinitarian dogma did not originate with the Christian church; it was introduced more than two hundred years later by Greek philosophers and theologians, with Tertullian being a prominent figure. However, the theologian Arius, of Libyan origin, launched a significant campaign to demonstrate the falsehood and lack of valid foundations of this dogma to both the Catholic clergy and civil society.
Emperor Constantine convened the Council of Nicaea in 325, where around 250 bishops from all parts of the empire gathered to decide the fate of the Trinity. I have compiled all the historical information about this event in this novel to present it to the reader in an easy and entertaining manner, covering its peculiarities and the involvement of figures such as Constantine and renowned bishops of the time. Additionally, I have recounted the history of the Visigoths, who were converted to Arian Christianity and remained in that faith until 587.
